Growing Up!

Recently I've realised that I'm growing up. I know this because I've noticed I'm getting some attention from the girls! It happened at a wedding I was at recently. I caught one of the girls there glancing over in my direction.....and she looked very nice so I glanced back at her.
It was nice to get attention from a girl and it got me thinking that maybe it's time to start taking care of my appearance. I went into my mummy's bedroom and had a try of her hair straighteners. It made a bit of a difference, but I wanted more of an individual look.
I noticed another hair thing lying there and thought I would give that a go, too. A finish off with some of daddy's hairspray and I was done.
What do you think? I'm very happy with it. I think it's definitely 'me'!
There's been more recent attention from girls, too. It happened when my friend Hattie came back from London to visit me. She was there for a special reason, though. Soon we're both going to be two years old! Our mummies and daddies told us they had planned a very special surprise for us.

We soon found out what it was - all the boys and girls who had been born around the same time as us were all getting together to celebrate. We had such fun catching up over some yummy food and drink!
And, of course, there were plenty of other things to keep us amused. It was a super day! Later on, Hattie came back with me for some supper....and we began practising the 'NO!' word (even though we're not quite two yet). Have a look below to see what I mean. It seems like a fun word :-)

Since then I've had a super time continuing to celebrate my birthday. This week, my grandad came to visit and we went out to the town and had a lovely day in the museum and I got to choose my own present. I had such fun with it .... and with the bag it came in as well :-)

This Thursday I'm off to celebrate it with my Scottish family. That will be fun. I've got some great memories of the last time I saw my nana and papa here in Manchester a few weeks ago. have a look.
