A Busy Summer!

Hello again, everyone! Are you all enjoying the summer?

I am - and I've been very busy (as usual!).

I thought I'd take some time to tell you some of my latest news, though.

One of the things that happened this summer was that I had two surprise visitors at my nursery one day. I recognised them straight away, even though I hadn't seen them for weeks and weeks.

It was my Nana and Papa from Scotland!

We left nursery early and rushed round to my house so that I could show them some of my new toys.

I showed my Papa how to make things using my sand and water tray.

He seemed to get the hang of it quite quickly, so I left him to it and toddled off to see what my Nana was up to.

I soon found her cooling off in my paddling pool. Then we all had some fun. My Mummy came back from work early and she took this video of us all.

The next day, I took my Nana and Papa to one of my local play parks.

I was fun showing them how to play on all the rides.

My Nana watched closely to see how to get on to this ride, then she got on as well. It was fun!

My Papa gave me a hug and told me that I was very clever.

I liked it when he told me that.

I felt quite proud :-)

The third day was great fun, too, because Papa thought that I might like to go to another park where there are lots of squirrels.

We packed some bread for them to eat and off we went.

It wasn't long before we saw one.

We crept up quite close to it so that we could watch him picking up the pieces of bread in his little paws as he nibbled away on it.

I loved it!

After that it was time for lunch in a local cafe.

One of my new jobs is getting the sugar ready for my Papa's coffee.

He taught me to shake it really hard and gently tap it on my other hand to loosen it.

On the fourth day of their visit, they told me that something very special was going to happen.

We went in the car with my Mummy and Daddy. We drove to a hospital near to where I live and we all looked on as my Mummy lay down on a bed.

I watched as a nurse rubbed something on her tummy. There was a T.V. in the room and a picture appeared on it.

I could see a little shape moving around on the screen. Everyone was very quietly watching it and they all seemed to like what they saw.

I'm not quite sure what was happening.

I'll have a long hard think about it, though,  all and I'll keep you all posted when I find out more!
