Being a Baby is OK ... Sometimes
Hey everyone - I learned some new stuff this week and I thought I'd share it with you!
It all began earlier this week when I was sitting quite happily relaxing in my bouncy chair thing.
I was in the kitchen of my house.
My mummy and daddy were in there, too (they like to take me with them everywhere they go - even when they move about the rooms in our house!)
Suddenly I stopped my bouncing because I could smell something delicious.
Remember I told you in my last post how much my mummy and daddy like to cook? Well, they were at it again.
Can you see from my expression how interested I was?
I watched them as they sat down at the table to eat what they had cooked.
I was so envious!
I was remembering the morning before.
I think it must have been a Sunday because that's the day my daddy brings my mummy a big plate of food into their bedroom.
I usually sit there quite happily while she eats it all up.
That particular day I was a wee bit fed up, though, because I really wanted to taste some.
I sat there looking at the (nearly) empty plate wondering when I would be old enough to have some of that bacon my daddy cooks for my mummy.
My daddy must have realised how fed up I was feeling, because the next day when he came home from work, he sat me on his knee and he told me not to worry.
He explained that I was getting all the food I needed just now from my mummy.
I listened carefully as he gave me lots of 'growing up' advice.
He explained all about healthy teeth and healthy bones.
After that, he told me that he had one very important piece of advice for me.
Do you know what it was?
He told me to have as much fun as I could when I was growing up.
We had a good laugh together talking about all the fun stuff that I could do :-)
And guess what!
The next day, I decided to have some of that fun.
When my mummy and daddy dressed me up in some funky gear, I decided to try out some groovy dance moves.
Have a look .... what do you think?
This last picture's a bit of a blur, as I really went to town!
My mummy and daddy enjoyed watching me perform.
I think they were surprised that I was so talented :-)
It was great fun .... but i have to admit I was knackered after it.
It's just as well I don't need to wait until night time to have a sleep.
I can just drop off whenever I please.
My daddy's right ....being a baby isn't so bad after all.
Check back soon to see what I get up to next!
