A Friend To Tea!

As you know, I like to sleep a lot! I love it when I'm snuggled up in my bed all cosy in my stylish wearable sleeping bag.

At other times, I just like to have forty winks sitting in my chair (my mummy always puts a blanket around me when I'm sleeping to make sure that I'm cosy in there, too)

When I'm awake, though, I love being with my mummy and daddy!

Sometimes I cuddle into my daddy's shoulder, I always feel so safe and secure when I do that - and I think my daddy likes it, too :-)

I also love to feel close to my mummy.

Getting a c
uddle from her feels very special :-)

Sometimes she even lets me try out her big bed.

It does feel nice....but I think it will be quite a while before I'm ready for a bed as big as that!

Today something different happened, though. My mummy invited a friend for tea and she brought her baby with her (I'm not sure if the baby was a girl - or a boy just like me) and I really enjoyed welcoming him or her to my area of the house.

It's the bit where all my mobiles are.

We got on really well and we had a great conversation
. I explained that when I first arrived here this area had a kind of crinkly elephant thing. I told him or her that I thought that this new bumblebee has a more welcoming feel.

I showed my new friend how I've been learning new skills. I said:

"Sometimes I waggle my hand like this, see, and then that thing moves! I'm sure I'll have it figured out soon"

My friend looked interested - maybe I'll get to visit her or his place too soon.

That would be nice :-)
