Actually, we had to go on three trains - and even a tramcar - to get there. I loved every minute of the journey, though, because I love trains!
I've got loads to tell you, but I thought I'd start by sharing some of the new things I learned while I was there.
One of the things I learned was how to play darts.
My uncle Brian helped me to use them.
He explained that they were special, safe darts with no sharp pointy bits.
He showed me how they stick to metal things like the fridge in my Nana and Papa's kitchen.
It wasn't long before I was pretty good at it and was managing to get quite good scores.
My Papa thought I was very clever and he took lots of pictures
I learned something else, too.
I discovered my Papa's chess set and I thought I would give it a go.
My Nana explained where all the little chess men move to, but I thought it would be more fun if I invented my own version of the game.
What do you think? You play it with your feet....and the grown-ups join in by returning all the little people to their right bit of the board.
A third thing I learned to do was to re-organise my Nana's kitchen cupboards.
I was a wee bit worried when she came in to the kitchen when I was in the middle of the re-organisation of this particular one, but my Nana just smiled and said that she thought it needed a new look.
I decided that I'd leave the rest of the job for her, though, because there were much more areas of the house to explore.
My Papa thought that my Daddy and me would like to visit a place called Linlithgow.
He knew that there were lots of ducks on the loch there and he thought my Daddy and me would like to share some lunch with them.
My Daddy had saved some of our bread and he showed me how to break bits off and throw them over to the ducks.
I loved watching them - it was a great day out :-)
The next day my Papa thought I might like to learn how to throw stones into the water near his house.
He said that he loved to do it when he was a wee boy and that my Daddy used to love it, too. He threw one into the water and it made a big 'SPLASH!'
Then he showed my how to skim the flat stones along the top of the water. It looked like great fun.
My Daddy gave me a stone so that I could make the 'SPLASH!' sound, too
It was great fun. I could have stayed there for hours and hours!
The next day, my Nana said it was time that I went with her to visit all the boys and girls in her class at school. She told me that they were very excited about me coming along to visit them because she always reads my blog posts out to them.
When I arrived there was a lovely surprise because lots of them had written little plays for me to watch. They had made little sock puppets so that they could act them out. It was great fun!!
After school, my Nana and Papa took me to the park where we had great fun.
My Papa took some videos of me and my Nana running around having fun there. Take a look!

But the biggest surprise of all was the Teddy Bears.
My Papa had read me the book the night before......and there they were waving to me in that park.
I was astonished!
My Papa took a picture. Have a look - My book had come to life!!!
