Busy With Life!

Hello again everyone!

Did you think I had forgotten about my blog? I have just been so busy with life that I haven't had a moment to update it.

Hopefully this blog post will help you to catch up with all my new achievements :-)

Can you see from this picture that I've learned how to crawl? It's changed my life - I'm much more independent now .... and I can even crawl up and down the stairs in our 3 storey house (it's even more fun when I'm chasing a grown-up while I try to grab their foot - it really tires them out, too!)

I've been busy with my books, too.

I just love them.

I have lots of my own books and my daddy takes me to the library to borrow some from there as well.

I love it when a grown-up reads to me - but I like to have a read myself as well as you can see.

But there's more exciting things being happening here recently. Maybe the picture below will give you a clue?

Yes - I've just experienced my second Christmas (I was too little to know what was going on last year!). Such fun!!

I even got to help my mummy decorate our house with some pretty lights.

I've always been fascinated by lights and shadows, so this was such an awesome task for me.

Thank you, mummy :-)

Once the house was decorated, things got even more exciting.

For example, one night when I went to bed I noticed that there was a special stocking hanging up on my bedroom door.

It had my name on it, and Rudolph the Red Nosed  Reindeer's head was on the top of it (we'd been singing about him in Nursery, so I knew all about him).

I love my bed - but it took me a wee bit longer to get to sleep that night.

......The next morning was so much fun because Santa had been and he'd left us all loads of presents!! I went in to my mummy's bed and we opened the ones in my stocking. Here's me learning to play my slide whistle. My mummy showed me how to do it, then we gave a big clap when I managed to do it as well :-)

Then I watched while my mummy, daddy and my grandma opened all the other presents.

We had such a lovely time..............

..........Thank you Santa :-)

After we'd opened all our presents, we went off to have yummy Christmas dinner with some friends. My favourite was the sweet potato. Yum!

A few days later my nana and papa came to visit from Scotland and they brought even more presents.

They were all great, but one of my favourite was my new train set.

It's great, isn't it! Here's a picture slideshow of my nana and me putting it together.

And guess what.... yesterday my mummy, daddy and grandad took me to see a real live train set!

I was soooo excited.

I'll see you all soon with more news of my exciting life :-)
