Then a familiar face peeked round the half opened door - it was my Papa. I haven't seen him since our holiday in Spain, but I recognised him right away. I knew we were going to have some fun together so I gave him my biggest smile :-)
I glanced at the door again and I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw my Nana's face appearing as well - we gave each other a huge cuddle!
We had great fun all weekend - the sun shone as well, so that made it extra special. We visited the park, went out for a lovely lunch, popped in to the Lowry to see some paintings - my Papa wanted to see his 125th anniversary exhibition - and they took me long walks in my pram.
Here's a picture of me being pushed along as I took everything in.
One day, we all went to Fletcher Moss after having lunch in The Didsbury .... and my Papa said it was time that we shared our secret. We'd been practising walking together in the garden of my house, and we thought it was time to show off my new talent to everyone else. My Daddy was so impressed when he saw what I was able to do that he took a video of the action.
Have a look! (my silly socks get in the way at the start, but my Papa soon helped me to get the hang of things!)
