It's A Tough Life At Times!

I know I usually write about the good times on here ....and there are plenty of them, as you know :-)

But being a baby can be tough at times.

It's my gums -
they're driving me crazy!

I think it will all stop when my teeth are through. One down and nineteen more to g
o...HELP! :-(

It all started with the uncontrollable dribbling.

If you look carefully, you'll see what I mean in this picture of me sitting on my papa's knee.

My Papa thought it was really funny, but when he saw how much my gums were bothering me, he looked quite concerned.

Sometimes, even when my Uncle Graeme tries to cheer me up by making silly faces, I just can't concentrate for thinking about the madness that's happening inside my mouth.

And when he played the 'peek a boo' game with my giraffe later, I just grabbed it from him and used its ears to try to ease the craziness.

I hope my giraffe's ears are ok!!

When it gets really bad, though, there's nothing for it, but to bite down very hard on one of my teething rings. Thank goodness I have lots of them lying around!!

My Uncle Brian took all these pictures so that I could let you all see just how much us babies have to suffer sometimes.

He's always hearing grown ups say, "Babies? They've got a great life!" ... but
he knows that's not completely true!

Anyway, there's one sure thing to help me forget about the mad crazy feeling in my gums
.

Well it's not one thing, actually, it's two!

And my Uncle Brian caught the look on my face when I saw those two things last weekend when they came back from a weekend away.

Can you guess
what the two things are?

Yes....that's right - it's my Mumm
y and Daddy!!

The mad feeling doesn't go away altogether when they're around, but they certainly help take my mind off it :-)

I love my
Mummy and Daddy very much! Can You tell ?? :-)
